for SALESPEOPLE
"Success in sales greatly depends on my ability to work with people. The concept behind super-string theory as presented in the Powers of Ten Seminar has kindled a desire to become much more aware of my thoughts as I am working. If every thought and action I have affects people around me, then I must be willing to steer my thinking towards positive and productive thoughts. I am noticing when my mind wanders off to more negative thinking if I’m having a 'bad' sales day, and I am striving to change my thinking to being more positive to have more positive results. I am finding that as I tell myself, 'No, I am not going let myself be effected by bad sales day, but I’m going to think positively and really give my attention to my next customer,' my next customers are much more pleasant and willing to listen to what I have to say about the benefits they are receiving out of my products. Because I am most pleasant, my customers are more pleasant. Because I am giving my sincere attention to them, they are giving their sincere attention to me.
From an exercise called 'walk in my shoes,' I learned the importance of seeing from another person’s perspective. Through this, I am creating more sales opportunities as I try to walk in my customer’s shoes and ask questions so I know where they stand, what their needs are, and match products that benefit them the most. In some cases, it feels more like they are the salesman, selling themselves on the benefits they want or need, while I listen and provide them with options that suits their needs.
The Powers of Ten seminar helped me to go much deeper and have a more wholistic experience with sales techniques Ive heard for the past several years. Im seeing the difference between putting a smile on my face, while Im disappointed about a lost sale, and genuinely smiling, while Im giving my full attention to my customer. Thank you so much!" for HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS
Dear Dr. Condron:
The practice of the life skills presented in the Powers of Ten Seminar continues to improve my relationships with my peers and my patients. I can see why they are labeled Essential Life Skills.
Since the seminar I have explored and reached more deeply into myself. This has caused me to expand my thinking far beyond where I have gone before. In the fast paced world of nursing, we sometimes get so busy and stressed forgetting how our busyness impacts the lives of the patients we are serving. Nurses are geared to problem solving. Believe me every patient we have has problems. We tend to see the world this way. It was refreshing to have a new thought instilled into my mind. It is not necessary to have a problem in front of met to create. Nurses tend to be creative in solving problems. Our goal is to eliminate problems, then what? We send the patient home. When the problem is solved the work is done. This is all well and good for our patients, but when we live our life continually looking for and solving problems it leaves little time to truly create our hearts desire. This is what life is truly about.
This Seminar aided me to see how important it is to release attachments to outcome. The module in which we listed events in our life and then evaluated them at positive negative or neutral wasan eye-opener for me. I had lots of positives. GOOD. I have realized that the negatives were the things that I wanted to change in my life and were a motivation for me to change. The positives are my attachments. In moving away from negative and toward positive, we often miss the meaning of life of growth and change. When everything in the lifeis positive there might be little motivation to change, unless the new idea enters the mind of moving to the neutral where one can experience both negative and positive and stay neutral in the experience. To be able to release any attachment and to learn from any experience is invaluable.
As a nurse, I can be totally invested and care very deeply for my patients. When I can do this on a higher level my patients can benefit more fully. I am less emotional and more able to fulfill their real needs. There were so many new aware nesses I gained from this Seminar, just the one part on stilling the mind and listening, has aided me to hear my patents needs, or anticipate them fort the comatose patientswho cannot communicate verbally. There are many ways to listen, and I am continuing to learn more of them each day.
Thank you for this experience. It has benefitted me tremendously in my work and also at home. I recommend it to any health care professional who really wants to impact their patients and their own well being.
Sincerely,
Linda Kay Yeingst, R.N.

for HOSPICE CAREGIVERS
As a Director of a Hospice, I am continuing to grow and learn everyday, just how much I impact the staff I supervise and the patients I interact with. I had a very meaningful experience at Powers of Ten. I have been validated even more, knowing that I am a vital part of this big scheme of things! I have been studying at the School of Metaphysics for over a year now, and immediately started seeing the benefits of mastering my consciousness. The Powers of Ten seem to catapult me to the next level, providing me with a determined will, confidence, and wisdom to carry to the staff at Aseracare Hospice.
This letter is to thank you for the experiences I have gained from attending the Powers of Ten Seminar in Windyville, Missouri and in Kansas City, Kansas. I did not know what to expect, initially, but my mind and heart were opened in the process. I am actively seeking ways that I can bring this seminar to the healthcare professionals in hospitals, hospices, home-health agencies, psychiatric units, and wherever else healthcare services are provided. I am forever blessed and changed from Powers of Ten!

Regarding Powers of 10
This seminar taught me how to be a stronger communicator.
I experienced a transformational change in the way I communicate with others. To communicate well with others one must not only speak clearly-but listen. I learned that I need to give my undivided attention when I listen to receive another fully. Developing this skill has enabled me to improve my relationships at work by fully understanding the questions and needs of my staff.
I also had an amazing experience in the exercise Walking in Someone Else's Shoes. I learned that I could relate to someone I barely knew by focusing my undivided attention on them for 10 minutes. As I moved with them I experienced being them. I saw the world differently. I saw the world through their eyes. What would my life be like if I could see through the eyes of others-all the time? My experience the day I learned this exercise was developing a friendship with the person I walked with. We learned that we held many common ideals and a strong desire to create. This friendship has developed into a business partnership where we are creating together!
