How Intuitive Research is Changing My Life

Marcia Roismann is a correspondence student who became acquainted with the School of Metaphysics when she visited the SOM World Headquarters last April with Leonard Orr, founder of rebirthing (see related interview in this issue). After living in Virginia assisting Leonard Orr with his ministry and education, Marcia then left the United States to travel and teach rebirthing in her native Brazil. She continues her studies abroad through correspondence with SOM.

Hello dear friends from the School of Metaphysics!! Here I am in a little town in the South of Brazil with my friend and also teacher Heike Strombach. We travel together giving seminars to train more Rebirthers and also to help people in their spiritual path. I translate English into Portuguese and help in the seminars. I love what I’m doing, I’m learning a lot and also getting more and more connected to my own spiritual path which became a lot clearer since I came to the College of Metaphysics!

I can never thank enough all I have received from everybody in the School, all the time I was in America working with Leonard Orr -- the founder of Rebirthing -- as well as all I received when I visited the college. The intuitive reports that I was given have brought new light into my consciousness and made me more aware of who I am and what I have to offer people and the world.
My Family Past Life Profile and my Dharma Report have helped me to make the decision to spend summer (your winter) at my mother’s house in the small town I was born and brought up in. I’m going to initiate (my Dharma) a Rebirthing movement over there! It is a great challenge and all the energy I have received from the School members, Leonard and Heike has really empowered me to take this step.

...Therefore this one has elected within the present time period to be much more involved with other people and in this way to attempt to evolve the sense of understanding the dharma in such a way as to realize the effects that this one does cause. ... There is a need for this one to recognize the need for integration within herself for there is a tendency for this one to be willful and then to be loving in separate actions of the mind rather than unified. ... It will aid greatly for this one to expand the thinking to be able to recognize that the cause is nonphysical, that indeed the initiative and the cause both have expressions that if sustained with the will do have manifestations in the physical world... My last month in America was the busiest and full of surprises! I gave many Rebirthing sessions, made new friends and best of all, was invited by everybody to come to the College for the second time. It was particularly possible for me to go because of John Clark’s generosity that offered to pay for my flight ticket! Thanks to him I participated in the Spiritual Renaissance weekend and found out about my Dharma which was a most fulfilling experience!

I’d like to recommend the Spiritual Renaissance Weekends to everybody. It’s an opportunity for deepening your knowledge of yourself, experience it, to make friends, to have fantastic food and be spoiled beyond limits, etc.,etc.,etc.,! For me it was like closing my experience in America with a "golden key?!"

I never had the chance to say thanks to John personally [he passed away that weekend] but due to his generosity, again I had the wonderful experience of participating of the healing class and feeling his energy. I was glad I was there to give my love and support to Dr. Laurel (his wife). It was a fantastic learning experience for me to see and perceive everybody’s attitude towards death. At the same time, that people allowed room for grieving it was a kind of "healthy grieving" where people expressed their feelings and then kept the positive thinking up! I saw nothing of the drama and desperation I’m so used to seeing in "normal society."

I’m continuing my studies as a correspondence student. I look forward to receiving each of my lessons with enthusiasm and I’m doing the best I can! I have just finished reading Dr. Dan’s Superconscious Meditation book, which has really encouraged me to keep working on my discipline towards this difficult stage of beginning to meditate. I am also working with Dr. Barbara’s Dreamer’s Dictionary and making an effort to understand the messages of my dreams. Thanks ever so much to each of you. I miss you all and I love you very much.
