Rory Colgan
Rory James Colgan grew up in Rock Island, Illinois with his parents and siblings until moving to Champaign, Illinois in 2004 for his second year of college. Rory started his studies in the School of Metaphysics on September 1, 2004, two weeks after moving, with the desire to earn his Doctorate of Metaphysics and aid in the spiritual awakening of his "big family". After earning his Respondere diploma and finishing a traditional two year degree, Rory moved to Columbia, Missouri, to continue his studies in the School of Metaphysics. This year of study in Columbia was rich for Rory as he came to a deeper understanding of the conscious ego and glimpsed with great clarity who he could become. Rory then moved to the College of Metaphysics where he experienced the purpose of life and had many affirming metaphysical experiences. Upon graduation, he moved to Des Moines, Iowa where he currently studies and teaches Universal Law and Consciousness through the School of Metaphysics.
Rory spends his time learning, serving, teaching, playing disc golf, gardening, writing, biking, golfing and dancing. When there is snow on the ground he enjoys downhill and cross country skiing. Rory is focused on receiving and earning his Doctorate of Metaphysics.
