The Exercises
by Natalie Axberg
As a student in the School of Metaphysics, one of the primary focuses is on the daily mental disciplines. These practices stretch different skills of the mind, developing the mind of the student. Practicing the concentration and visualization exercises every day helps the student to cause an experience of what is described in the weekly lesson. When the student has regular experiences with these exercises then they can begin to apply into their life what they are learning in class.
In the mind map, each section is connected to the next through an illustration that represents an exercise that is given with lesson 5A. The first connector is the pyramid-shaped box. This represents an exercise done to build prosperity. The stairs represent an exercise done to build memory, the fruit bridge represents an exercise for building will and knowing the self as more then a physical body, and the pulley box represents an affirmation that is said every morning and evening.
