ISAIAH 55

The subject of this book concerns Universal Truth and the manner in which that truth is communicated universally.

The method used to convey the universal truths in Isaiah 55 as well as most if not all of the world's Holy Books is the Universal Language of Mind.

What is the Universal Language of Mind you might ask? The Universal Language of Mind is the language used to convey messages from the Inner Levels of Mind, the higher dimensions of Consciousness to our waking conscious mind. It is the same Language your Subconscious Mind or soul uses each night to communicate with your Conscious Mind. These messages are called dreams.

Each night when you go to sleep your Subconscious Mind gives you knowledge in the form of a dream. In order to understand the meaning of the dream you need to know the language of the Subconscious Mind.

The Superconscious Mind contains the seed idea, the perfect or Divine plan of how each person may become enlightened. To be enlightened is to be full of LIGHT and LIGHT is awareness. This LIGHT is the awareness of Self, Mind, and Creation.

In order to know Superconscious Mind you must first know Subconscious Mind. In order to know Subconscious Mind you must know and use the Conscious Mind productively.

The Conscious Mind is the division of Mind that works in conjunction with the brain. The brain is an organ of the physical body. It is a memory storage device. People that exist in their memories of the past live mostly in the brain. People who imagine something greater for themselves and are busy creating that greater future exist or live in their mind.

The study and use of the Universal Language of Mind is for those who want to do more than exist in their physical brain. It is for those who desire to learn to use their whole mind and to know their whole Self.

As you study your night dreams, you will come to know the Real Self better and better. As you read, study and apply the teachings of Isaiah 55 given in this book you will learn and discover many of the secrets of Creation. Those secrets of Creation will improve your ability to know yourself.

Have you ever asked yourself the question, “Who am I?” The answer to that most important question can be found in these pages. The rest is application – application of these truths until you too are an enlightened being, a son of God, a son of Man, a Buddha, a Christ, a Zarathustra, a Pythagoras and most importantly you will have reached your fullness in the earthly cycle as a being of LIGHT for that is what you are and ultimately will be.

Experience that is reasoned with, understood and given from the outer or conscious mind to the inner or subconscious mind. Once received by the subconscious mind these permanent understandings of creation – this real, lasting, high knowledge – is stored as permanent memory to be used in this or future lifetimes. These understandings of Self and creation are made a permanent part of Self and are the building blocks, the foundation and edifice of enlightenment. This knowledge is stored even beyond your lifetimes. It is beyond reincarnation. These understandings are integrated permanently and are maintained as a part of one’s evolving consciousness even after the Self evolves beyond incarning on the physical Earth.

Wine symbolizes wisdom and milk symbolizes whole or High Knowledge. Wine is produced from grape juice and grape juice is produced from grapes. Grapes being food symbolize knowledge. Wine therefore, symbolizes the wisdom that is produced by applying and directing the knowledge for an extended period of time until a person can produce the creative result that is desired every time. Knowledge that is used and taught to others, over time, develops into wisdom.

The Biblical phrase “drink wine and milk” directs every seeker after knowledge, wisdom and enlightenment, to learn to be able and willing to surrender your ego and receive the highest teaching of self and creation. This includes being willing to receive and learn about the Universal Laws from your metaphysical or spiritual teacher and apply them in your life for the benefit of yourself and others.

Much of soul growth is learning to be open to receive, for many people live a life of fear and protectiveness. Many others aggressively pursue their own desires not realizing that the quickening of soul growth and spiritual development is also a process of learning to still the mind and body in order to meditate successfully and to know the Self.

Mother’s milk is the food that the physical body uses in infancy and infancy is the time or stage of the most rapid learning and growth. For further information on the cycles and stages of growth see my book titled The Four Stages of Growth.

The command to “drink wine and milk” is an offer to partake of the best that physical Earthly life affords. What is the best of Earthly or physical life? It is the permanent understandings of Self and creation. In fact, our whole reason for existence in physical life is to progress as a creator. This means to learn the secrets of creation and to incorporate them into our being permanently and everlastingly.

Verse 2

Why spend your money for what is not bread;
your wages for what fails to satisfy?
Heed me, and you shall eat well,
you shall delight in rich fare.

As I explained earlier, money symbolizes value. What is one of the most valuable things you have to offer, both for yourself and for others in a lifetime? It is your time. Time is one of the most precious and valuable commodities available to each individual.

So each minute, each hour, each day, each week, each month, each year, and each lifetime we must choose how we will use our time. Since we are in the physical universe incarned in a physical body it is important that we use that time wisely. The wisest use of that time is to build permanent learning, permanent memory called understandings.

These understandings always align with Universal Truth. Permanent Understandings of Creation are not built upon lies, falsehoods or fictions. In fact, to progress as a spiritual and mental being one must come to be more in alignment with Universal Truth and integrate that Truth into the whole Self.

At its very essence, and very specifically, we are here in physical life to build within ourselves and give and teach love and truth. It is very difficult to receive truth when there is no love, for fear closes the heart to receiving truth. Love banishes fear. From over a quarter century of teaching students to know Self and Mind I have found love to be an indispensable companion for receiving truth.

To “spend your money for what is not bread” as given in verse two is to spend your time and effort in activities and ways of thinking that do not add to one’s soul growth, spiritual development and enlightenment.

What kind of thinking impedes one's soul growth and spiritual development? Physical or separatist thinking. What type of thinking quickens one's soul growth and higher development of the Mind? Mental or connected thinking.

What is the difference between physical thinking and mental thinking? Physical thinking derives from sensory experiences. The five physical senses of sight, smell, taste, touch and sound provide us with our experiences of form. In order to provide us with the experiences of form the senses give us the illusion of separateness. Form or physical matter is basically energy in its slowed down state. Matter can be converted to energy in the famous equation E=MC2 as given and discovered by Albert Einstein. E symbolizes energy, M symbolizes matits are of the memory - past, while a quickening of soul growth and spiritual development are created from the image, the imagining, the imaging process and are how we create a more productive future. A disciplined mind is how we use the present, the eternal now, effectively and productively.

The three factors of reasoning are:
Memory - past
Attention - present
Imagination - future

Until one begins the practice of mental discipline the attention tends to be either in the past or involved in sensory stimuli in the present. The involvement in sensory stimuli is a type of engrossment in physical life experiences.

However, the disciplined conscious mind is able to direct the physical organ of the brain productively to retrieve only those memories that aid in making the learning process in the present proceed more productively and efficiently.

A good reasoner, a highly effective reasoner, realizes the fact that the life is created daily by the thoughts one creates and chooses. It is these thoughts that cause Self to accomplish in life whether those accomplishments be small or large. From the thoughts one chooses, the disciplined thinker uses memory to make life more efficient, attention to be productive in the present, and imagination to create a greater more productive future.

It is from this perspective and with this disciplined mind that one is able to glean the knowledge of Self and creation that life affords. It is this rich, wealthy, abundant learning that is the rich fare of verse two of Isaiah 55.
