Satyagraha holding onto truthchanting in the Peace Dome
These sacred Sanskrit words cause our thoughts to rise. They mean holding onto truth and were recently used to describe Mohandas K. Gandhis nonviolent resistance for home rule in India in the mid-1900s. We have created three progressive changes that when sung in the same time and space call forth the spirit in all creation. Pravi! Rama, Rama, Rama ani om lifts our eyes from whence we come and svagatam mahatma, namaskar ahimsa respectfully invites the Great Soul to come forward bringing peace of mind.
Penned in 1996-1997 the Universal Peace Covenant is a vision for all humanity. This is a reading of the covenant in seven languages set to chanting and music. Each morning at 5:30am in the upper chamber of the Peace Dome at the School of Metaphysics World Headquarters dedicated students recite the covenant aloud. Each year on New Years Eve people aroudn the world unite in One Voice by reading the covenant at midnight.
