Why people are reading this book.....
I read this book in only a few days. It is an incredibly easy read. I really enjoyed and valued the affect it had on my consciousness as I read it. I found myself looking at my experiences in life differently. I found myself considering my soul and my soul’s learning throughout the day much more. The book brought up a desire in me to know and see and appreciate my own value more.

I received a Dharma Portrait last year and after reading this book, I know how to use it to the fullest. Dr. Clark makes Dharma easy to understand and fun to read about. Anyone interested in finding out more about their inner selves will love this book.

I think it is a great book, filled with deep insights and interesting stories that make the principles more real. It is a good balance. It could easily become a popular book in the sense of being accessible to large numbers of people. This is probably the most difficult kind of book to write.
I especially liked the stories about the people who learned about the quality they were supposed to express. That concept was very helpful to me.
To me this book has a mantric quality, that is, it can precipitate experientially the very things it talks about. This is rather unusual. The Alice Bailey books also have that quality, as well as a number of others, but not that many. What this means to me is that Dr. Clark is capable of writing from a higher level of consciousness. So basically reading the book amplified and expanded my experience of my own Dharma more in the direction of a living presence rather than a concept or idea.

Thank you for your new book Dharma. I started reading it immediately for I am in a position of not knowing why I am here in Oklahoma. I strongly felt that thre was a purpose for me to come here... but ...I feel frustrated.
I have read your book and will read it again. I was impressed with it...I started reading the book....and then searched and found my Intuitive report from the Dharma weekend and listened to it and will again as I will also read your book again and again....it is one of the best books coming out of SOM....I congratulate you on a needed and great book. I loved your use of drawings to illustrate points within the text. You continue to amaze me! I wondered, “What other gems does she have tucked away?” I got your message of love and sincerity you send through your writing.
I had not previously read about the concept of Dharma. Your description of it and how it ca be used to add a new dimension to one’s life was very interesting and thought provoking. From my own experience, I equate Dharma with the soul’s sincere desire or, what is realized when one is silent and is open to the energy of oneness (listening to the wind) which translates into what some call “finding one’s passion” or, “calling”. Having someone “read” me to obtain this was something quite fascinating (to consider). Your observations of these readings and the reaction of the participants must have been quite a heart warming experience and one that brought everyone closer. Wow, you’re so blessed to be part of this!

Introduction
Ever since I was a child, I felt compelled to do something important with my life. I believed that there was some destiny I was supposed to fulfill. I didn’t know what it was, nor how to find it. I just knew somehow that I would be happy if I was expressing my true self.
I was taught by my parents that I could do anything I wanted, and could become anything I wanted. They believed in me.
