The phone rings. “Hello? How quickly can I get an Intuitive Health Analysis? My doctor just told me that I have to go in for surgery and I want to know if I can get a health analysis today before they start cutting on me.”

Quite often we receive phone calls like this at the World Headquarters of the School of Metaphysics. Frightened, desperate, grasping at hope, people who have tried all the traditional medical routines call in a last ditch attempt to understand what is going awry in their body. Unfortunately, the best time for an intuitive health analysis is before their physical condition has deteriorated to the point of emergency. Yes, a health analysis can pin point the cause of a disease. Yes, it can suggest useful and unusual treatments that will accelerate healing. But a severe physical disorder does not manifest overnight. It develops over a period of time, the result of dis-ordered thinking that has developed and taken root in the mind, and then takes its toll on the body.

The longer a person thinks in negative, restricted, or unwholesome ways, the more serious will be the deterioration of the body. The sooner the disorder is identified and changed, the more quickly the physical body can be restored to wholeness. Thus, the best use of a health analysis is for preventive “medicine” -- to create positive, productive, growthful ways of thinking that will cause health in the physical body. Minor disorders that are identified in their early stages can be addressed and treated before they become serious. Let go, ignored or denied, they will worsen until drastic measures are needed for healing.
