Why people are listening to this lecture.....

"The simplicity and clarity with which Dr. Condron speaks on dreams is a testament to her knowledge of the true meaning of dreams. Never does she cop out. Every concept or symbol relating to dreams she describe is complimented with examples that most anyone could attest to having experienced." -- Sebastien Hartman, college student and artist

Dr. Condron begins this lecture by telling the story of how her own journey to understand the meaning of dreams began as a young child and progressed as she searched for answers to her questions through church, school, and the study of psychology. She discusses the importance of dreams as seen by different cultures and philosophers throughout history up to the present day and the research done through the School of Metaphysics. From there, Dr. Condron begins her discourse on the Universal Language of Mind, the language of dreams developed by the School of Metaphysics. She provides the listener with an in depth perspective on how each and every symbol held within a dream relates to the dreamer’s own state of awareness. With great detail Dr. Condron describes the benefits of dream interpretation, including the development of subconscious abilities such as clairvoyance. She also covers the different types of dreams that are commonly known, such as premonition/precognitive dreams, nightmares, recurring and lucid dreams. Throughout the lecture, several real dreams discussed and interpreted to give the listener an experience of the science of dream interpretation.

“There are so many abilities that your subconscious mind has. Many times we draw upon these through the sleep state and remember them as dreams. In order to really begin to understand your dreams, we begin teaching a language. Because your dreams really do come through in a language. If it is true that every dream is about the dreamer and that everyone and everything in the dream is you, then it becomes important to be able to decode those dreams. If dreams indeed are dual in nature, if they are universal, and if they are personally relative, then there must be a way that you and I can understand dreams that is universal in nature. Also respect the fact that how those dreams are put together is totally unique to each one of us as individuals, so the message that our inner self is trying to get across to our outer self can become part of our waking consciousness and awareness. This is the way that we study dreams.

Each one of us were taught and have learned english. Otherwise, it would make this communication very difficult. I would be speaking words and if I spoke russian, and you don’t know russian, you would hear a lot of what you would identify as noises. You wouldn’t be able to identify them as words, so you wouldn’t be able to assess any meaning to them, and communication would be very difficult. This is often what happens in our dream state. Communication becomes very difficult. We try to assess meaning, but without any kind of foundation, without any kind of basics. There are basics that you can learn in terms of understanding or interpreting your dreams, so that they can be relative to you. This is the universal part of dream interpretation. What we teach people to do is to understand the symbols or the images that appear in the dream. These images are particularly chosen by your inner self, your own subconscious mind. Not somebody else, by you. They are there to convey a message to you. The message will always pertain to your conscious state of awareness. That’s always true.”
