Introduction
This book is a compilation of excerpts from books published by the School of Metaphysics over the past three decades. The authors of these books have collectively taught hundreds of thousands of people to develop mental discipline and how to live in harmony with the Universal Laws and Truths that govern creation. The ideas and thoughts presented here are universal, applicable to anyone anytime anywhere. These truths are timeless, resonating with the soul as they are read. Wisdom is presented from the authors own experience and authority, inspiring heart and stimulating the intellect.
The theme of the book is intended to aid in developing a deeper understanding of the twelve major virtues or attributes needed to move humanity from its present stage of development called Reasoning or Reasoning Man to the next cycle of learning called Intuition or Intuitive Man. Man in this case is referring to the Sanskrit word manumeaning thinker. The twelve disciples of Jesus in the Bible symbolize these major virtues. The teachings of astrology lend further insight into these aspects of the Self as the primary influences of the twelve sun signs.
Incorporation of these qualities into daily life through discipline aids one to develop the foundation necessary for intuition -- the direct grasp of truth -- to flourish. The aspirant experiences accelerated soul growth and spiritual development. As more and more individuals develop this foundation humanity as a whole will live in harmony with all of Creation. |

Truly open and honest communication is one of the keys to building and using any relationship. The idea of expressing thoughts openly and honestly incorporates trust in yourself, in your thoughts and their reality, and trust in the relationship. To use my association most productively, meant that it would be most productive for me to admit when I was feeling victimized or sorry for myself. It would give me the opportunity first, to admit such thoughts exist in my mind, and second, to the physically hear my thoughts. With this type of honesty in communication, the relationship would also provide a place for me to gain another persons objective perspective as they presented truth to me about my own thoughts.
The idea of expressing thoughts openly and honestly incorporates trust in yourself, in your thoughts and their reality, and trust in the relationship.
It is often very easy to buy into someones limitations or poor image of himself, feeling sorry for them and supporting them when they are down. However, this is not the most productive approach. You can give them an honest and objective perspective to help them identify their thoughts. If they receive your honest communication, theyll have information to help them recognize why they have those thoughts. You offer insight to help them change their thoughts and self-image.
Your subconscious mind will present truth, letting you know exactly where you stand. This is the true advantage to learning the language your inner mind speaks.
